Data we collect

Only the data you voluntarily provide through our forms: full name, email address, phone number (optional) the content of your message and, if you contact us on behalf of an organisation, its name, your department and your role. Salutation is optional. Please do not include health information. If you choose to do so, its processing is based on your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Purpose and legal basis

We use your data solely to respond to your enquiry, to organise volunteer participation and to develop partnerships. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Only our hosting and email service providers have access, acting as processors in the course of providing their services.

Retention

Data is kept for up to 24 months after our last communication or until you withdraw your consent, unless a longer period is required by law.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Minors

Our forms are intended for persons aged 15 and over, in accordance with Article 21 of Greek Law 4624/2019. Younger persons require the consent of a parent or guardian.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to messages is restricted to authorised team members.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and the date of subscription. Your subscription is completed only after you confirm it through the link we send you (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in every mailing, after which your email address is permanently deleted. We do not use cookies for the newsletter and we do not track whether you open our messages.
